National Anthem Singer Application

Thank you for your interest in singing the national anthem at KGI’s Commencement Ceremony.

In order to apply, please create a Youtube ‘unlisted’ video of yourself singing the national anthem and submit here. The deadline to apply is Monday, March 20, 2023.

The commencement committee will review all submissions, and a student will be selected and notified at the end of March.

Note: These are the versus you will be required to sing:

O, say can you see,
By the dawn’s early light,
What so proudly we hailed,
At the twilight’s last gleaming?
Whose broad stripes and bright stars,
Through the perilous fight,
O’er the ramparts we watched,
Were so gallantly streaming.
And the rocket’s red glare,
The bombs bursting in air,
Gave proof through the night,
That our flag was still there.
Oh say does that star spangled banner yet wave,
O’er the land of the free, and the home of the brave.
