Taking care of yourself involves finding a balance between your physical, mental, emotional, social, and spiritual well-being. This can be difficult as a student. Achieving the right balance in your life can help facilitate your success at KGI and in your post-graduation endeavors.

  • Occupational therapy strives to help people across the lifespan do the things they want to and need to do through engagement in meaningful activities and the creation of healthy habits and routines. It utilizes a collaborative approach and a holistic lens to identify and address individual needs.

  • We will work together to address your individualized needs or concerns. Services offered include consultations and individual sessions. These are up to 60 minutes and free to all KGI students. Common topics we can work on include:

    • Academics: Time management, organization, goal setting, productivity, procrastination, planning, prioritization, study strategies, and more.
    • Health Management: Sleep, self-care, building healthy habits and routines (i.e., eating, physical activity, etc.), managing stress and anxiety, and more.
    • Other: Problem-solving, exploring values and goals, adjusting to student life, changes in roles and/or expectations, functioning with non-visible disabilities, work-life balance, and more.
