Mitochondrial Dynamics in Disease – The State of Research Carl Decker, PhD Student Mitochondria are dynamic, double-membrane bound hubs of bioenergetics, cell signaling, and redox balance that exist as an oscillating network of fused superstructures and smaller, single organelles.
