2024 KGI Career Fair

We are pleased to announce that the 2024 Career Fair is set to take place on February 23, 2024, in person! Whether you are looking for an internship, co-op, or full-time job, please stop by and take the time to meet with various biotech companies. All KGI students are welcome to attend, and we hope that students from all programs are able to learn more (and potentially fill) the various job postings offered through each company. We also strongly encourage students to network with employers, even if there are not any job postings available. Thank you, and we look forward to seeing you all!

To be eligible for free lunch, you must register for the Career Fair in Handshake by February 5. Those who do not register ahead of time will not be eligible for food.

Additionally, please be sure to make your resume visible so that Career Services can send each employer a resume book of students who have registered and will be attending the event.

Uploading a new resume and making it visible:

• From the Handshake main screen, click the icon with your initials in the top right corner
• From the dropdown menu, click “My Documents”
• To add a Resume, Cover Letter, or CV, click on the blue button labeled “Select from Computer”
• Change the Document Name if needed, and for Document Type, select “Resume”
• Once you’re done, select the blue button “Add Document” in the bottom left corner
• Select the blue button labeled “Feature on Profile”
• Your resume is now available for employers to view!

To make an already existing resume visible:

• If you already have a resume uploaded to Handshake, check that it is visible by clicking the icon with your initials in the top right corner
• From the dropdown menu, click “My Profile”
• Scroll all the way down to Documents and click the green button “Manage Documents”
• Under Resumes, click the empty circle next to “Visible,” and once you see a green circle with a white check mark, it is officially visible on your profile

On the day of the Career Fair:

• Please go to the check-in table and scan the QR code
• Pick up your stamp card
• Visit and speak to at least 3/4 of the employers and get them to stamp your card
• Redeem your stamp card for a chance to win a raffle prize
• If you have registered for the event by February 5, present your card for a complimentary lunch!

Business-Professional attire is STRONGLY recommended.
