KGI Giving Day 2023

kgi student giving day

On behalf of KGI, I would like to express our sincerest gratitude for your unwavering support during the KGI Giving Day 2023. Your contributions have enabled us to achieve great success this year, and we could not have done it without your generosity.

Over the 24-hour Giving Day, we raised an impressive $33,224.70 through the support from 71 donors. We are proud to share that this year’s accomplishments were particularly significant, thanks to the overwhelming support of the KGI community.

Here’s a summary of the achievements made during Giving Day:

  • We successfully unlocked every Giving Day challenge.
  • Ten student organizations received 31 gifts for a total of $2,467.
  • We received gifts from twenty alums, which amounted to $16,820.
  • Twenty-seven faculty and staff members participated in Giving Day.
  • The KGI community contributed 31 more gifts and $11,000 more than last year.

Once again, thank you for your continued support and generosity. We are grateful for your commitment to empowering KGI students from all walks of life to accomplish their academic goals and make great impacts in our communities.

With gratitude,

Dr. Sheldon M. Schuster
President, Keck Graduate Institute

HOW TO GO ALL IN & GET INVOLVED

"As an international student, it is essential to have someone to guide me on my professional path in this country. The mentorship program allows me to have the guidance of someone knowledgeable and experienced in the biotech and business field, such as Andrew Lewis. He has helped me grow my professional network and provided advice in seeking job opportunities. This mentorship has also helped me to have more confidence in myself and to ask for feedback and internal referrals from various professionals in leadership positions in the company where I am doing my internship."
