International Blog: August 20, 2018

Hello Everyone! How has your first few days in the States been so far? I hope you are loving every little moment. Hope you are excited for your first day at Orientation as well. I still remember our long walks getting to know the different colleges during our orientation, was definitely a lot of fun and Nusha, our international student advisor, just made it even more awesome.

I have some good news peeps! My final presentation here in Bio-Rad went on pretty well. I got some great positive feedback from my entire team and also comments to improve and work upon. I also was really thankful to receive special appreciation for having the best intern presentation. I also received the fun “Miss Congeniality” award! So overall, a lot of great things from work and the past three months have truly been a wonderful learning experience. I am definitely thankful to KGI for giving us the opportunity to spend our summer at different companies gaining this kind of real-world experience. I am also equally excited this week to meet my best friend who is flying down from Boston all the way to see me. We figured we’ll take a break and explore the bay area for a bit before school starts back up!

That’s all from me folks! Can’t wait to get to KGI and see all your pretty faces 🙂 #countdownbegins #notreadytogoback #kgiglobal #keckgrad #YouAreWelcomeHere #summerinternshipinthebay.
