Rialto Students Learn to Make Slime at KGI’s PharmCAMP

Rialto high school and middle school students experienced firsthand what it’s like to be a scientist at Keck Graduate Institute’s second annual Come and Meet Pharmacy Days event held in Claremont on two Saturdays in March.

The event, also called PharmCAMP, featured fun activities such as learning the science behind making slime.

“Pharmacy continues to be a little-known career field, especially among K-12 students,” said Dr. Christine Cadiz, assistant professor of clinical sciences at KGI and co-creator of PharmCAMP, in a press release. “The Come and Meet Pharmacy Days program allows us to inspire curiosity among young minds about these topics.”
