The Doctor of Medical Science (DMSc) program at Keck Graduate Institute is designed for practicing Physician Assistants/Associates who are ready to expand their expertise and advance into leadership, academic, or policy-making roles. This fully online, asynchronous program provides the flexibility to balance rigorous doctoral-level study with professional and personal commitments—no campus visits required. KGI MSPA graduates benefit from an accelerated 22-credit pathway, while non-KGI MSPA graduates may transfer up to 14 credits from an accredited MSPA program with course equivalency.

Eligibility Requirements
Applicants must hold a master’s degree from an accredited physician assistant/associate program and current NCCPA certification. A minimum GPA of 2.75 is expected, though applicants below this threshold may be reviewed on a case-by-case basis. A program interview is required, while an admissions interview is not.
