Shay M. Luce, MBA is Senior Admissions Counselor, joining KGI in November 2024, serving prospective students interested in programs in the Henry E. Riggs School of Applied Life Sciences.

Luce brings over 20 years of professional experience, beginning her career in logistics and transportation before transitioning into higher education in 2022. With an operational mindset and strong analytical and logistical skills, she has applied her expertise to the Admissions and Enrollment team through identifying initiatives and supporting change to enhance operational efficiency. In her role, Luce works closely with prospective students to help them identify programs that best align with their academic and professional goals. She is committed to providing personalized care to each student, ensuring they feel supported throughout the application process.

Luce holds a B.S. in Christian Ministry and an M.B.A., with a Nonprofit Management concentration from Hope International University, where she was inducted into the Sigma Beta Delta Honors Society, and is currently a student at California Baptist University completing her Doctor of Education (Ed.D.)  in Organizational Change and Administration program.
