Yustina Nashed

Dr. Yustina Nashed joined KGI as an Assistant Professor of Occupational Therapy as of January 1, 2025.

Dr. Nashed holds a Doctor of Occupational Therapy degree from Mount Mary University and a Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy and Occupational Science from the University of Southern California. She spent the first nine years of her clinical practice at Rancho Los Amigos National Rehabilitation Center, where she focused primarily on the rehabilitation of adults and older adults with a variety of conditions across the continuum of care. After this, she began her career in academia, initially teaching Occupational Therapy Assistant students and later Doctoral students of Occupational Therapy.

In her new role, Dr. Nashed will teach courses in the OTD program related to anatomy, neuroscience, and other physical conditions of adults and older adults. She will also maintain a clinical practice, conduct research, and engage in advising and mentoring students to support their professional and academic development.
