External Scholarships

There are many places to find outside scholarships. If you belong to clubs and organizations, please speak to their main office for scholarship information.

$2000 Sallie Mae Scholarship – Application deadline at the end of each month.
California Veterans Association College Fee Waiver Program – Application Deadline: Rolling. Multiple awards with Varying amounts.
LA Tutors Innovation in Education Scholarship – Application deadline on the 20^th of each month. Scholarship Amount $500.00.
MPOWER Monthly Scholarship Series – Application deadline at the end of each month.
SOFI Scholarship – Application deadline at the end of each month.
College Ave $1,000 Scholarship Monthly Sweepstakes – Application deadline at the end of each month.
Matter to Matter Scholarship – Application deadline on the 20th of each month. Scholarship Amount $300.00
“Tuition Solution” Scholarship for STEM Students – One $1,000 Scholarship. Application Deadline November 8, 2026.
Pharmacists Mutual ACA Foundation Community Pharmacy Scholarship – up to two $2,500 scholarships each year. Application deadline November 30, 2026.
Scholarship Selection Committee – PEO Foundation Scholarship – Award Amounts and Number of Awards vary annually. For female students with California Permanent Residency Status. Application Deadline January 2, 2026.
Joy Cappel Scholarship – Two $2,500 Scholarships, Application deadline January 20, 2027. Scholarship intended for life sciences students.
The Bright Futures Scholarship SVCF – up to $10,000.00 in scholarship. Application Deadline is February 27, 2027.
Imana Pharmacy Scholarship – One award of $5,000.00. Application Deadline is March 30, 2027
Skin, Bones, Hearts & Private Parts Scholarship for Nurse Practitioners, Physician Assistants, and Registered Nurse Students – Ten $500 Awards. Applicational Deadline March 31, 2027

If you receive financial assistance from private sources such as external donors, company tuition remission, VA Education Benefits, these funds will need to be reported to the Financial Aid Office. This would include outside scholarships, tuition assistance, or educational benefits awarded within the academic year. The total amount received from all resources plus the Federal Loans cannot exceed the student’s cost of attendance.

In efforts to lower educational loan debt, it is our policy to apply all financial assistance toward the Graduate PLUS Loan should the amount requested is up to the student’s cost of attendance within their overall financial aid package.
