The Office of the Provost

Oversees Academic Affairs, providing centralized support for the academic and student services functions of Keck Graduate Institute, ensuring compliance while advocating for an environment of enriched teaching, research, learning, and belonging.

Megan Prosser, Provost and Vice President of Academic Affairs, serves as KGI’s chief academic officer. She supervises the Institute’s three schools — the Henry E. Riggs School of Applied Life Sciences, the School of Health Sciences, and the School of Pharmacy — as well as Student Affairs, Admissions and Enrollment, and Accreditation and Research departments.

The provost provides academic leadership, guidance, resources, and bridges between research, academic and student affairs departments on campus to create an integrated student experience. As a strategic leader, the Provost and Vice President of Academic Affairs guides in the educational direction of the Institute and fosters a cohesive leadership team across all departments. The provost serves as an integral driver of the Institute’s strategic plan, academic programming and support functions, and hiring and retention of world-class faculty.
