Practitioner as Educator develops teaching skills applicable to academic and clinical education through examination of adult learning theory principles, health literacy, and application of innovative instructional design. The course introduces skills necessary to design and deliver educational materials and learning experiences for students, clients, caregivers, communities, colleagues, other health providers, and the public. The course also explores the roles of fieldwork educator, capstone mentor, and faculty member.
