The online, five-day PA Summer Success Program (PASS) at Keck Graduate Institute (KGI) in Claremont, CA, is designed to inform, excite, and empower high school, college, and post-graduate students to pursue a career as a physician assistant (PA). This online program will begin by providing attendees with information about the profession, real PA perspectives, and engaging clinical scenarios.

The program will then conclude with information about applying to PA school, including admissions applications, financial aid, and successful interviewing. After the program, attendees will better understand the PA profession, possible career paths, and the tools needed to start the journey.

    Application Requirements 

    An online application form is required that contains questions about your personal and educational background. Additional requirements (below) can be submitted along with your online application or separately:

    • Personal Statement (required)
      • Please provide a brief statement (maximum 500 words, 12-point font, 1 inch margins) describing yourself and explaining why you want to participate in this program.
    • Resume (optional; highly recommended for college and post-graduates)
    • Transcripts (optional; highly recommended for college and post-graduates)
      • Unofficial transcripts may be submitted for evaluation purposes. Official transcripts are not required for admission but may be substituted for unofficial transcripts for admission review.

    Application Review

    The Admissions Committee will thoroughly and conscientiously review each application.

  • PASS is best suited for:

    • High school and college students interested in health professions
    • College and post-graduate students preparing to apply to PA school
  • There is a $20 application fee. Participants are responsible for having a personal computer with broadband Internet access.
