Title of talk: The Future of Life Science Manufacturing: Staying Ahead of the Curve in a Rapidly Changing Environment

Andrei Tadique is the Director of Manufacturing Science at Takeda Pharmaceuticals, where he leads teams responsible for the commercialization of therapies for rare diseases. Andrei discovered his passion for commercialization and manufacturing scale-up over an 18-year career in the life sciences industry. His areas of expertise include technical operations, supply chain management, and program management.

Andrei has held increasing leadership roles with pharmaceutical, medical device, and contract drug manufacturing organizations like Merck, JNJ, Gore, and Teva. Previously, Andrei led teams involved in manufacturing millions of doses of the COVID-19 vaccine as part of Operation Warp Speed.

After enjoying the first 16 years of his career in the East Coast, Andrei recently relocated to Southern California, where he is an active member of the Parenteral Drug Association (PDA) and a Project Management Instructor at PMI Orange County. Andrei holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Carnegie Mellon University and a Project Management Professional certification with the Project Management Institute.
