Las Posadas is a nine-day celebration in Mexico, Guatemala, Cuba, Spain, and other Latin American countries commemorating the trials Mary and Joseph endured during their journey to Bethlehem. At the end of each night, Christmas carols are sung, children break open star-shaped piñata, and all are invited to sit and feast.
