Alice Vickers came to KGI in 2019 as part of the Corporate Partnerships team, helping to create and maintain relationships with life science companies for the benefit of KGI students. She moved to the Advancement team in 2021, where in her current role she works to secure philanthropic funding from partner companies and private foundations.
Vickers draws on years of experience in several fields, including contracts administration and corporate relations, in her work at KGI. In her current role, she is responsible for the research, cultivation, writing, post-award administration, and stewardship of private grants from foundations and corporations. Her priorities in the coming years include developing new philanthropic relationships for KGI and growing current relationships.
Vickers earned her bachelor’s degree from UC Santa Barbara and is a trained copy editor. She makes her home in Grand Terrace, California, with her husband, daughter, and dog.
