Joe Wilkins, a business executive, transformational leader, and advocate for health equity, currently serves as a management consultant and advisor and is a board member and Treasurer for Public Health Advocate. He also serves as a board member for Medliminal. Wilkins career spans several roles within health systems, life science, and diagnostic firms. Most recently, he was the SVP, Chief Transformation & Innovation Officer at Atlantic Health System. Before this role, he was Executive Director at Quest Diagnostics, and previous to Quest, he served as Zone Director for sales and service at Danaher Beckman Coulter.
Wilkins oversaw Providence St. Joseph Hoag Health as the Board Chair. He was also installed as a member of both the American Hospital Association and the California Hospital Association Boards. He co-chaired a group of Healthcare Foundations collaborative called Foresight for Health, and he currently serves as Co-Chair for BDHEA, Black Directors Health Equity Agenda.
Wilkins is a Board-Certified Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives, FACHE. He holds a BS and an MBA degree from Argosy University. He is a Black Belt – Six Sigma Quality Certified, and he holds Corporate Governance Certifications from both UCI and USC.
