Join us as Master of Science in Applied Life Sciences student Summer O'Brien speaks about investigating Bacillus thuringiensis's vegetative insecticidal proteins VIP1 and VIP2. “Entomopathogenic Bacillus thuringiensis is a Gram-positive spore forming bacterium that has been used for more than 60 years as a bio-insecticide in agriculture, transgenic crops, and forestry. This two-part series of hands-on workshops will be led by Professor Anna Hickerson and is open to all KGI students.  This first session is an introduction to using Excel efficiently and effectively. Focus skills will include: importing and sorting data, using formulas, referencing cells, using common built-in functions, and basic plots and figures.
