The core responsibilities of the Office of Research and Sponsored Projects (ORSP) are the effective and efficient dissemination of information related to  grants and contracts; accurate and timely assistance with proposal and budget preparation; oversight of regulatory, fiscal, and administrative activities related to grants and contracts; authority as KGI’s Authorized Organizational Representative (AOR) to bind the Institute to perform under the awards as guided by Principal Investigators (PIs) and other appropriate administrators; and to assure the KGI Board of Trustees, our stakeholders and constituents, our faculty and staff, and our students, that KGI has the necessary human resources, policies, and internal controls in place to provide fiscal accountability to our sponsoring organizations.
