The Claremont Colleges Library

The Claremont Colleges Library (also known as Honnold/Mudd) is located at 800 Dartmouth Avenue, across the street from the Huntley Bookstore. It holds collections in the arts, humanities, sciences, social sciences, and more.

The Library can support you in many ways, including:

• Learn how to search for and download articles and sources from Databases and Journals
• Quickly find your textbooks and course materials through Course Readings
• Use Library Search to find and borrow print materials in our collections. Request to pick up in person or have items mailed to you using the Get This Item button.
• Use Research Guides to get started on your research in your subject area
• Learn how to search the Deep Web and what tools to use to find Open Content
• Learn about Open Access resources, Copyright & Fair Use, Managing Your Scholarly Identity, and how to deposit your scholarly works with Scholarship@Claremont.
• Use easy, self-paced Library tutorials to gain skills with search techniques and tools
• Learn how to use Zotero to cite and manage sources or get additional citation help

The Connection at the Honnold Library

The Connection is located at the south entrance of the Honnold/Mudd Library. The connection provides high-volume digital printing and general office services for students, faculty/staff, and any Honnold/Mudd Library guests.

The Huntley Bookstore of The Claremont Colleges

Huntley Bookstore was established in 1969 as a central service of The Claremont Colleges. The bookstore is housed in a 23,000-square foot building made possible by a gift of the Earl W. Huntley Foundation. Mr. Huntley served as a member of the Board of Fellows of The Claremont Colleges until 1955.

The bookstore used 14,283 square feet for a sales area, storage, and office space. The bookstore has apparel and gift items, office supplies, trade books, an Apple Campus Store and repair center, and is a shipping hub that serves the community at large as well as the students, faculty, and staff. Designed by Jones & Emmons Architects, it is a contemporary post and beam structure making extensive use of concrete block, glass, and exposed wood.

• Monday-Friday: 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
• Saturday: 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.
• Sunday: Closed
