Sara H. Low joined KGI School of Pharmacy and Health Sciences as the Director of Interprofessional Education and Assistant Professor. She earned her Doctor of Pharmacy from the University of Maryland School of Pharmacy and then served as a United States Public Health Service Commissioned Corps officer within the Indian Health Service for five years.
Stationed at Alaska Native Medical Center in Anchorage, Alaska, Dr. Low completed the Southcentral Foundation PGY-1 Ambulatory Care Pharmacy Practice Residency and served as an integrated pharmacist within multidisciplinary primary care teams. She honorably separated from the Commissioned Corps as a Lieutenant Commander. Dr. Low’s research interests include interprofessional education and collaboration.
