2020 Dates: July 27-31, 2020
The five-day Pre-Occupational Therapy Program (PrOT) at Keck Graduate Institute (KGI) in Claremont, CA, will provide participants interested in an occupational therapy career a chance to actively explore the profession through hands-on and interactive learning. Students will learn about the diverse scope of occupational therapy: what occupational therapists do, where they work, and populations they serve. Additionally, participants will learn about innovative and emerging occupational therapy practice areas that support health and well-being.
Participants will be able to reflectively consider a variety of occupational therapy career paths, educational options, and what is needed for a competitive application. Students will also learn tools to support their own wellness in educational contexts.

Who should apply?
The program is designed for motivated undergraduate students or high school seniors interested in applying to occupational therapy programs in the future. Eligible applicants include:
- Undergraduate college students (enrolled in community college or four-year institutions)
- Students who have completed their undergraduate degree
- High school seniors
Tuition and Scholarships
The tuition fee is $495. The program will include all classes, activities, lunch, and snacks for five days. Limited scholarships are available for students who need financial support to attend.
